Digital Build: Methods Of Thinking
The images that comprise the series Digital Build: Methods Of Thinking were composed for inclusion in the companion experience book The Terminal World. Digital Build explores the theory of montage, as implemented through the superimposition of two or more images. The photographic montage, because it functions like linked images – as we see in film dissolves – is about the passage of time. It is time as it moves through these images until I push pause on the dissolve, and the image becomes still. One image is a story. Any time two or more images are combined, a scenario is created. The following images are examples from the much larger project.
