It contains visual and textual experiments, including dreams, typescripts, handwritten texts, newspaper clippings, photographs, paintings, etc. Image And Word: A Book of Hours was created concurrently with Past Moments, Old Dreams. The two should be read together. Images and texts from each appear in the other. Both books are crucial extensions and further explorations of the novels and art created at that time. Rough versions of the first four novels can be found scattered throughout their pages.
